This Government run scheme pays participants for every kilowatt of energy that their system generates.

Payments are made quarterly over seven years. Payments are tax-free and indexed linked.

Renewable Heat Incentive payments are designed to payback up to 80% of the cost of your Air Source Heat Pump installation.

Air Source Heat Pumps are quiet running, low maintenance and stand-alone units, roughly the same size as an air conditioning unit. They can be placed outside your home so no digging or underground pipework is needed.

They can be used together with most electric boilers, oil-fired boilers or equivalent when docking to an existing heating hot water system.

How Does an Air Source Heat Pump Work?

They operate rather like a refrigerator in reverse, absorbing heat from the air into a working fluid which is passed into a compressor, where it’s temperature is increased before it is transferred via a heat exchanger into the heating and hot water circuits of the building.
